Been milking cows for 36 + years and have decided to sell our dairy cow herd the end of November. Next generation is our son who has worked on our farm his whole life. We have decided for him to stay on the farm his best option would be going into milking goats. We are working on a plan at this time to transition the barn to set up for goats. Question being 28 herring bone and automatic take off milk machine? Where would we look to inquire about either of these. At this time we have been checking into local manufactured double 12 that milks from the back. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We live in Gratiot, WI. which is about 3 hours south of your farm. Also is it possible for a farm visit?
